When did the colour of the powder coating change ??

[SimonV8ster]

I heard that the colour of the powder coating changed from white to grey (or vice versa) at a certain year. Anybody if this is true and when it was ??

Basically, what colour should the chassis be on a 1995 Griff ??

Peter Wheeler got some paint from the Navy but it ran out

Fred "Bored with this red George"

George "Yeh, what do ya fancy next then?"

Fred "Dunno, there's some white at the back of the store"

George "Won't last for many!"

Fred "Who cares"

George "Done, I'll sort the oily rags for wiping 'em down, you get the white"

Fred "Peter will get us a job lot of battleship grey soon anyway"

George "Silver would have been nice wouldn't it . . . . . . . .. "
