Service. once a year or on milage

The previous owner had a service,at christopher neil, manchester in 2003, the mileage was 1058.
then he had one at harrogate, in 2005, mileage 6700, next one, 2006, mileage 10173 .

Thats the last one he had, we bought the car in march,we wont be doing much mileage, as its a fair weather car, so when do you think we should service it? or if we only do very low mileage, should we still have one 12 monthly, or is there a little service (sorry) that we can have. can you see where Im going with this, any way, if you understand this please give me a clue.

It should have been serviced before you bought it... 12 months max... oil goes off (well the bits in it can)

I have 12 month service, but get oil changed aswell before winter for £60 it's worth it

Thanks Keith, It was serviced when we got it, but was just wondering, as the bloke who had it before either didnt have it recorded in the book, or didnt have it serviced in 2007, as there is nothing in the book for 07, any way every 12 mnths you say, Thats fine thanks for getting back,.

I would always go for the one which comes first, either mileage or 12 months.
