CKL, XK Club, E-Type Club and JEC trackday at Goodwood
Discussion
OK, I've posted this on the Yesterday's Heros forum too, but ...
I went to the Goodwood track day yesterday, organised by CKL for the XK & E-Type clubs and the JEC.
This year unfortunately (from my point of view) it was a mixed day where as last year they had separate days for those new fangled E-Types and for XKs.
The weather turned out to be great.
There was an interesting turn out of cars.
As well as my XK150 FHC which returned to the road finally shortly before midnight on Monday.
There was at least one XK120, sorry I didn't manage a good picture of this one.
A few XK140s and XK150s.
Sadly no C-types arrived and the XKSS I though was going wasn't.
There were however 4 D-Types, one an original, it might be familiar to some of you, particularly if you saw Octane a couple of months back. Two Lynxes, one should be familiar to at least one of the denizens of this group. I didn't get to find out which the other one was. Sadly I missed getting a picture of the four of them all sitting in a line, the dark green one was only parked with the others for a very short while before moving off to park in one of the bays.
A Cougar
Several light weight E-Types
and then several more Es.
Oh yes and a rather nice, but noisy, replica XJ13 which has featured on Pistonheads before. It's the Rod Jolley one that used to sit in Racing Green's showroom when I bought my toy.

There will be some video to follow when I've edited it down.
