Just bought a gorgeous 360 and thinking about getting a sports exhaust. What should I buy? I was looking at either a Tubi or a Capristo. The Capristo units seem to be the preferred choice, but are pretty pricey - are there any alternatives that sound good? And what's the general consensus on the sound of the Tuni / Capristo?

These two topics should give you all the info you need to get the correct exhaust.

I'm an out and out Tubi fan, and won't fit anything else to my cars now. Had the Tubi on my 360 and it was just gorgeous; I still remember the first time I took it out and couldn't believe how much better it sounded even though that's about 7 years ago! I still miss that sound. Having heard the others in the flesh, IMO these sound either artificial or not as tuneful.

Tubi without doubt, include the test pipes with it and you will wet your pants

Yes, absolutely, they do create resonance.

IIRC I used to get a bit at around 2.2K, but it was easy enough to drop a cog for the howl so it neve bothered me. Actually Bebs has had his on for what is it? 100,000 Km? Better ask him!

I had a system made for a Porsche and the interior resonance was almost unbearable when pootling along the motorway at a steady 80mph .....but when gunning it the sound was devilish.

I don't think I could live with resonance again ......

The Larini system sounds good with zero resonance......

You get resonance for the first couple of thousand miles. I've run test pipes and Tubi for some 55,000 miles now and its sweet ears

121,000 km now Kevin yes
