Well its only about a week to go until the next monthly gathering so I,d better get things sorted ! Its a bit late this month, sorry.

Its back to The Metcalfe Arms in Hawstead just South of Bury St Edmunds again.

Map here

This month only we are booked in for 12.30pm so suggest that we aim to meet at 12.00pm.

We need to move it forward this month as the pub is likely to have a selection of old cars call in whilst on a run from the village event nearby, so to help them out we have moved the time by half an hour.

If your coming along please let me know on this thread or drop me an email through my profile, as I would like to get Nigel and Anne a good idea of numbers to help them out. I will be speaking to them again mid next week.

Well that's it. Look forward to seeing you all on the 27th.

Alright guys!

I'm afraid this will be the second the meet in a row I'll have to miss. I'm waiting on Robinsons to finish a warranty repair to my gearbox. They had it 2 days, only to ring me up and tell me they couldn't find anything wrong! rolleyes

Hi all. I'll be coming along. Looking forward to it. Finally got a chance to make a PHEA meet after moving here (Norfolk) in November.

Is it just a drink or is there driving too?

Thanks

Hi TS,

Its just a meal, drink and natter at our monthly meets. Hopefully will be some runs out as the year progresses. Keep your eye on the forum for upcoming events. Are you on our email list ?? If not I can add you if you PM me an email contact, that way you will be kept upto date with all events.

See you Sunday.

Got your car started yet Ian?

I may have mentioned to some of you last Sunday that I was worried about a rattle from under my car. When I got home I tracked it down to a broken exhaust joint. Took it to the garage that fitted it this morning to get it fixed. They would insist in revving the engine which set off all the alarms of the cars in their workshop biggrin
