any known cures or old threads covering this?

mine whistles like a goodun at around the 100mph mark, which is not much good because although the car looks at it's best with the hard top on, the idea for me was that it was the thing for long journeys.

I've got the same problem, thought it was the aerial but have since been playing and came to conclusion it was the roof. Obvious (and slightly cheeky) response is to take it off and put the soft top back on :-D, but other than that no idea, sorry.

Has a similar experience with my hard top. The rear of the hard top wasn't sitting flush with the roll bar, sat approx 10mm proud of the roll bar. 3 roofs later it sat flush, well within a couple of mm, eliminating the whistling noise - leaving me free to listen to the next annoying rattle or wind noise ;o)

If the roof is already sitting flush then I'm out of ideas. If it is sticking up you can try tightening it up, adding some rubber on the roof hooks to effectively pull it down a bit. It has also been suggested to me to grease up the seals on the roof to help it slide in position !

Hope this helps.

thanks, my roof doesn't sit perfectly flush. Sounds ridiculous but I was even considering a strip of gaffer tape to smooth the airflow!
