Company cars?

Just formed a ltd company and looking at all options with regard transport.

What we have decided my buisness partner and I is to get ourselves a couple of modest runabouts say 15k each in the first instance and see how things go.

Having discussed at length with our accountant he advises we buy the cars through the company and in effect have a tradditional company car.
However another accountant I mentioned it to said in his opinion we may better of purchasing them privately and charging them back to our own company.
We are looking at doing 25k miles a year and getting something like 3 year old C class merc for instance.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I went through this with my accountant before I spent about £15k on the Porsche.

It was far cheaper overall to have the var as my own and charge the company for its use.

Get your accountant to crunch the numbers for you, it's what you pay him for.

Then buy the cars privately.
