e36 Single Button Alarm Remote

Anyone know of a source of single button alarm remotes for a 1995 328i? Mine has fractured on the case and dropped off my key ring, but luckily I have managed to locate it, but am worried how long before I misplace it.

Are there any options to get another style remote, or even one built into the key? (Duct tape solutions are not acceptible! )

Mine sellotaped onto the back of the BMW keyring, it actually makes more sense that way as it's one less thing to dangle.

If it is the early Gemel type with a cut off corner and small screw in the back you can buy a replacement case from BMW.

If it is the later thin oblong one 3T or 2T you have to get the whole remote which then needs coding to the alarm.

Some people glue a key ring to the remote.

Thanks, but that's not the one.

It is the longer thin one, with a single button and a stupid batterty case on the back. It now has a section of coat hanger glued around the top to reinforce the broken catch. Not smart, but at least I have it attached to the key again.

Yep, that looks like the beast, and squinting carefully at the pic looks to have the same problem wtih the flimsy plastic loop that connects to the keys.
