Bored out plenum and larger throttle body
Discussion
Planning to upgrade my Chim 500's induction. Can anyone tell me where I can get a larger bore plenum with large bore throttle. Please note I do not want the ACT carbon fibre plenum. Also where to get larger bore AFM as well.
All suggestions are welcome and very much appreciated.

Ported inlet manifold.
Modified trumpet base.
Modified plenum with enlarged throttle.
The parts cost £750 + VAT on an exchange basis.
I also have Tornado Chip, Magnecors, RPI spark amplifier, and fuel pressure regulator.
I have not had her dynoed yet, but she screams through the gears to 6000+ into top where the acceleration falls off at 5000 rpm. Power is available from 1500rpm right through the rev range. I do have a little video of its acceleration, if you have broadband and PM me, but it is not for public consumption!
The point is the mods make the car so much more driveable in all conditions and there is a noteable improvement in fuel consumption and a reduction in noise at motorways speeds as well.
It may sound expensive but I told RPI I wanted a 4.6L upgrade and they recommended these mods instead, which are a lot cheaper and deliver similar results. If I still want a 4.6 at a later date these mods will still enhance its performance, so no money wasted.
I would recommend RPI to anyone but if you visit them get Chris to take you out in the 5.2L Morgan - its mental!

"Porting and Port Matching
Most of us have understood the benefits of porting on a cylinder head but the induction system is often overlooked. Although less dramatic than port shaping and chamber modifications on a cylinder head, the alteration of the inlet manifold and trumpet base on a standard fuel injected Rover V8 give excellent gains and at a relatively low cost.

The 45mm radiused trumpet base (shown above) has been matched to a 45mm ported inlet manifold and the manifold in turn has been port matched to the cylinder heads. The resultant unobstructed airflow from inlet to valve allows for the seamless passage of the air into the cylinder without sacrificing air speed and thereby increases performance. There are many factors which effect the airflow, it's speed and tumble characteristics and these are tested on a flowbench to insure positive results. "
The set up shown in the article is a very good performer
V8D also do a 72mm plenum butterfly that works very well with above set up
All ally no C/F
Prices are very competitive, so im told
