I knew i'd seen that name before. Turns out i now own his Cerb which e bought years ago. I saw some emails in the box of documents i got with the car. I had a look but couldn't find an email address.

It's fine now. The chain snapped taking the engine with it last year frown but it's running great now.

Bugger. What sort of mileage has it done now? Is a new chain in the service schedule at all? It's one of those things that you just can't pick - one of my Rover V8s snapped it's chain idling after a rebuild. I was lucky that time that it did no other damage; would have been a different story if it'd been turning at 5,000rpm.
