Hello all

Friend of mine in France has a very clean LHD Griff 500.

He has a problem with the front suspension. When he bought the car it was very low at the front. To raise it he wound up the adjustable collar of the dampers to get it about same ride height as my now ex-Griff 500 (sorry couldn't resist a LHD yellow Aero 8). Problem is springs are really compressed and front end is extremely jittery.

He wants to buy new springs but we're not sure what to go for and obviously it's not easy to take car to a TVR specialist being in SW France.

Suggestions?

Cheers

Philip

I'm sure that you'll get lots of responses on this one with differing views. I fitted Gaz shocks and springs to mine with adjustable ride height and damping. I'm very pleased with the result and they're reasonably priced. I'd be more than happy to talk to him or you on this or any other Griff subject.

Someone recommended that I talk to you about taking my Griff to France with me if we decided to relocate there but I didn't know how to contact you and the link to your email through PH's doesn't work.

If you're happy to talk to me would you please email me through my profile.

Regards
Colin.
