Learning a bit about Ultimas. Qusetions ;

1. What is the purpose of a quick release steering wheel, as some have it and some don't.

2. Would most insurers insist on some kind of alarm system. (remove stearing wheel ?).

3. what is the choice of alarms for these cars.

4. Best brake pad for the 'road', (AP system).

Some regard removing the wheel a security measure. I think it would be a pain.

Insurer will require an immobiliser. Few will require an alarm. You may find the immobiliser must be Thatcham Cat. 1. SVA require an immobiliser but a removable main power switch will satisfy that requirement.

Some of us have the sexy Pot belley pig Figure, and help for getting in and out..... and yes I always kept the wheel in the house while it was parked up......
