Clonking noise from A6 suspension

Evening all,

Haven't driven our A6 for a bit but noticed over the weekend that when cornering at low speed over the spped bumps in a carpark, there is a sort of clonking / dull knocking noise from the front of the car. It seems to drive OK though with no obvious problem.

Any idea what I should be looking out for?

BTW, it's a 54 plate C5 model Avant with about 55,000 miles on it and the 1.9tdi engine.

Mine eats front suspension arms so I think that a first point to look at

Looking at lower curved arms probably.

hmmm, I don't know much about the oily bits - am I looking at big bills here?
