Just had a very surprising and satisfying blast up a long slip road joining a motorway (in Germany of course) following the latest generation M5. Both gunned it from about 40mph and was right behind him all the way to 120. I even managed to fluff my change from 3rd to 4th. Mine is a 4.3 and although I know it is in very good shape (has had the ACT induction kit and set up by Mark Adams it put out 250bhp on Austsec's new RR) I was still very surprised I kept up with him. Perhaps he hadn't put it into sport mode? hehe

These 4.3's are fantastic..... mines putting out 270bhp .. Austec new rolling road, before the move..... however no Mark Adams on mine hehe

I played with an Audi R8 up to 140 mph( also in Germany), then lost my bottle.... he then left me standing, bloomin quick those things.

Well had the MA chip a few years ago but my understanding is that it improves general drivability with an increase in tourque and a small increase in bhp. Just makes sure the engine is at it most optimum.

Oooo yes, it can be done!

Here's a clip of mine playing with an M5V10 on test at the Ring.
He was right up me chuff for the first 2 miles, so I let him by to see what it was.
I stuck behind him for the rest of the lap. He drops me in traffic here and there, but it doesn't take long to catch up again.
Excellent cars, but Griff are better. I race it now.

Turn it up LOUD! wink

Biggest reason to MA chip is if you have modified the engine with cam, ported/polished inlet manifolds and trumpets, 72mm plenum for example. The fuel map then needs changing.
