wavey Hi all. As I've said in earlier posts, it'S been a while since I was "a regular" on here so I'm hopelessly out of touch.wobble. What I was wondering was wether or not a Northants Owner club has been formed??? I remember going to the gurus bow at Monkfish for a couple of informal coffee and biscut meeting(and driving THE maddest ute!!!)but has anything else developed from that? I'd be very interested in knowing.

Welcome back, Big Guns. Still got your CV8 or did you hang onto the VXR? No Northants club but a few more owners in the area. Ive been to some of the Corvette owners meets in the last 12 months, and they have been really good meets, shame that we can't/don't do anything similar.

There is a local forum on pistonheads and a montly meet first Sunday of every month at Sywell Aerodrome, next one is on the 4th May, midday onwards. May be a lot more people there this month because of the Northants run taking place that morning.

Hi John. How've you been? Still got the Silver Spaceship?? Yes mate,I've still got the CV8. l love it. The VXR was fun, probably more so because it was a loan carlaugh. Think the CV8 is a better all round car. Fancy this Sywell thing? My wife to be(get married on July 26th)used to teach at the school and she never mentioned it!laugh

I'm well thanks. The silver one's gone, having been replaced by one of the black VXRs. Its a long story, and whilst I always thought (and still do) that the VXR was too expensive for what it gave over and above the CV8, I do like it more than the CV8, the pre-reg thing changed all that, especially as the garage took the silver one back, returned all my money and sold me the VXR at a preferential price....can't knock the garage, their customer service was excellent!
I'm hoping to make Sywell, but sadly my dad died a short while ago and we had already made arrangement to go to North Wales on the Saturday for house valuations, etc. Sunday should be a welcome break, so all being equal, hopefully I'll see you there.
Demon Hill also lives just around the corner and runs a red VXR. You coming Demon?

Sorry, forgot.
Congratulations, but you really need to get her to sort out her (your!)priorities. Mind you, her being a school teacher at Sywell doesn't mean that she knows about Sunday things. If she's like my wife (also a teacher) Sunday is lie-in time and lesson preparation for the next week!

Where were you?
You missed a good run out. The old 'ro was well equal to the task & some good photos on Pistonheads site.
