Rare bike spotted

Honda CB500F at the newsagent this morning in Baslow.
M reg., so 1974-5 i guess.
Nice. I had a 1974 one myself, TYF24M.

The old CB500F were a nice bike (for their day) although I always preferred the slightly later 550 with the 4 into 1 system. Good to hear that there are still some around and being used.

Being a student at the time, I couldn’t afford the CB500F or the CB550F so I bought the CB500T.

What a ‘pile of st' that was!

Yet the probably inferior Black Bomber CB450 is quite loved!
