Anybody had this problem...?
I took her out for a spin last night and the fuel gauge started beeping at me saying I only had 1 litre of fuel left. There's no way 14 litres just vannished in the space of a couple of miles...
I went to the petrol station and put some fuel in and the gauge has failed to recognise that I have put any in. It just beeps at me saying I've only got 1 litre left still. I have to press both reset buttons to stop the beeping.
What's happened? Will it reset if I fill up again in a couple of days...
Any ideas would be appreciated as I dont want to play the guessing game.

The fuel sensor is pretty inaccurate..
I find that the only good time to read the fuel is when the car has come to a stop on a level surface for a minute.
On normal driving I just look down and read the value over a few minutes and work out an average in my head. I have started a journey with 16L and a few miles get the warning - I remember because it was in a long Motorway queue with no hope of gettin g off for a few miles - after that I make sure I always have 20L+ in the tank when going anywhere..

My Tuscan fuel gauge stopped working at a recent track day - the connector to the sender on top of the tank popped off after a spin. In that case the gauge read zero litres. Given that the instrument pack is very different between a Tuscan and T350/Tamora, 1 litre might be your default minimum reading, and you might just have either a broken sender or a broken connection. Easy enough to check the connection on top of the tank by removing some of the boot carpet. Otherwise check the resistance of the sender; I believe it should increase as the fuel level increases.

I have a problem with my fuel gauge too. When I first start the car it reads very low fuel(1-4l) and then it will suddenly read 190l (which would be nice but I know isn't true). Also within the first 15 mins of driving the car it with come up with fuel sensor error. Does this all mean just a replacement sensor? If so where can I get one from?
