The R1, the Blade, the GSXR1000, the ZX10..all about the £9k mark, most if not all do 0%, for pretty much the same thing...Hmmmm, or am I seriously wrong, again?

The GSX-R1000 shouldn't be £9k...unless you just mean RRP? I think they are going v. cheap at the moment, £8k or less...

Yes, job situation is a bit shaky right now and have another babie on the way. Will have to off load until things settle down.

Whoever buys it will have to prise the keys from my hand with a crow bar mind you. biggrin

Spot on.
I have been saying for ages, that all that matters with these bikes is which one you like the look of most.
As a road bike, every one does the job really well and is mighty quick.
Any difference in performance will be down to the rider and the upkeep.

It's why i have a 1098R on order.
Same performance as the latest UJMs, but so much more to offer, after that.

To get the most out of any 1,000cc bike now including the 1098R you have to be a top flight BSB or WSB rider........Yes the 1098R is a fantastic bike but unless you are Valentino no one would be able to ride it to its absolute maximum....

True.
I am partly buying the 1098R for the sound, looks and exclusivity.

If you are really, truely unsure then you need to go and demo the bikes. Despite the prices and the offers of 0% whats really important?? Finding the one you like the best and can get the most smiles per miles out of.

I you want to ride fast and look like a riding god but only have average talent then buy any of the CBR1000RR's. Be it RR4, RR5, RR6, RR7 ar even the very latest 1000RR8. Which is winning all of the reviews at the moment and really goes like stink.

There is a used CBR1000RR8 for sale on www.granthamhondabikes.co.uk for £8200, Bargain and its got £500 worth of extras
