I've just had a nibble of this at Wagamama's (I actually had beef, but it would have been rude not to try my OH's) and OH MY. I need to cook this at home.

Does anyone have a good recipe to make the sauce? Or does anyone know where you can buy it?

I need more. oooh yeah biggrin

Its a school-dinner chicken cutlet with chip shop curry sauce on it.

horrid stuff, its taken from British naval curry powder our sailors brought in in the early 20th century.

Thank god its not just me that thought it was chip shop curry sauce.

I feel vindicated.

For a simple at home method with a twist.

Simply pour chip shop curry sauce over a Findus crispy pancake.

Its probably in one of these though I'm not sure which. I'll check tonight as I have one of them.

Thanks, but I've looked in their cookbook and its not in there. Unless I'm being really blind.

Now I know it might not be to everyones tastes but I really enjoyed it. I might try the local oriental supermarket to see if they have a cooking sauce to give a go with first.

Lovely - it seems to be pretty much the same as every other one I've found (yet written so I can actually find the stuff in the supermarket rather than just ¨curry powder&#168wink so it confirms what I thought was right.

Looks like I might be making this for dinner tonight biggrin

Thank you biggrin

And tastes exactly the same (other than being pork instead of chicken) as you get in Japan as a Kare Katsu. Nothing like curry, but rather nice in an odd way smile
