First the Saab decided to commit suicide then yesterday...

Silly bint in the Mondeo changes from the middle lane into the left lane where I am to go down the slip road to the A5 Milton Keynes, we start to accelerate then she jumps on the anchors!!!furiousfurious I'm on the bike and One snatch at the brake and I do a superman and the bike is sliding down the slip road I look up and she is driving down the road.

Bike is scratched badly on the top and side fairing the crash bung helped a lot.
My helmet is ruined as it wore a few layers off it about the visor yikes
The leathers are fine and I'm badly bruised on my chest.

Watch out for muppets frown

You survived a close encounter with a muppet .... it might have cost you a few quid but it did not cost your life .... be happy

Oggs. Material objects are replaceable at the end of the day. You got up and walked away when it could have easily been worse.
Glad you’re OK, hope you got her number.

Mornin fella. Hope you don't ache too much. As I mentioned previously, this reinforces the value of decent clothing.

At least you're in one piece and you were able to hop back on the bike and ride it home.

Some motorists just beggar belief. How many times have you been driven by someone who just hasn't got a clue - and then you think....I have to share the road with these idiots.

Chin up old boy.

Sorry to here the news. You walked away from it in one piece and that is the only important thing much as the damage to the bike, your kit etc. is frustrating.

Sh!t, sorry to herar that mate. Even though we KNOW that most road users are idiots, it's still a huge shock when somethnig like that happens.. got a few mates that have suffered this lately.

Hope you're feeling 100% soon, and that the damaged gear can be replaced.

Cheers.

Unfortunately it sounds like it was your fault fella...if you couldn't top in time you were too close - end of. I've done exactly the same myself and just put it down to experience. I now try and keep a good distance from the vehicle in front having realised how utterly useless motorcycle brakes are when used in anger.
My next bike will have ABS for sure.

At least you're not hurt!!
