What's the general opinion on these watches, can be had for around £1500. RRP is £1875

I got the orange chronograph (larger version) in Kuala Lumpur(?) airport for £1600.
Very nice watch though pretty big on the wrist.
Lots of people comment on it.

I also like the model you have shown - would like nice for work or casual.

absolutely love them - I like the orange but I would be worried about whether this would wear off. If I got one I would get the black with white nunerals as per photo - not the coloured numerals version

One of these is on my wishlist. Have got a Seamaster Auto which I have had for 8 years now, and it is still my favourite.

Im looking at getting the same one right now. The orange bezeled version is very " look at my watch" but if thats what drives you then fine.

I like the black face/black bezel/orange numbers, its just that bit more subtle but will still look very good on the wrist.

I had the smaller version - picked it up from H Samuel with a leather strap for £1k in their sale. it was pretty nice, although the quality didnt feel anywhere near as nice as my Sea Dweller - mainly the feel of the bezel and the crown. I didnt like the coating on the glass either.

I ended up selling it on fleabay for a little more than I paid (which was nice). I like the look of them, but found the ownership didnt quite live up to the look.

Too big, sorry frown And I personally prefer the orange bezel version, but it's a great watch so if it tickles your fancies then go for it - hard to beat a 'Mega, so well built and understated, lovely.

Why not get the 'half-way house' and go for the black bezel with orange numerals as I have?

I wear the exact same watch as my daily beater, great watch but thin wrists need not apply. wink

Well made and a good weight. I was originally intent on buying the Chrono version but once I tried them both on the non-Chrono looked and felt so much better.

I looked at both recently and went for the Sea Dweller - feels far more substantial and fits my dainty wrists better - like the fact that its as understated as you will get for a Rolex.

The Omega is a top timepeice regardless.

I ahve the large orange one. Love it, but If it was my only watch I would have gone for the black I think.

Both the large and medium black watches look nice to me. I'm not a fan of the orange ones but each to their own etc.

The meduim isn't exactly a 'small' watch at 42mm that's still larger than a sea dweller or speedmaster pro. The 45?mm watch is a big old watch but it's in propotion and has a nice bracelet and rubber strap so if you have big wrists it looks great.

I've seen loads of good second hand 45mm black with bracelet watches for £1300 or less. I'd expect you can get a new one for under £1500 abroad or there's duty free at the airports.
