Hit and Run - Poole Quay

On my way out just after 8.30 last night I saw a biker lying in the road at Ashley Cross with paramedics in attendance. I assumed he had been down on the quay and was on his way home when something happened.

On my way home at about 10.00 the police had completely closed the road so I feared the worst but it appears as though he is alive and in hospital. The car driver didn't stop and police are appealing for witnesses.

There were loads of bikers going through at that time so if anyone here was in Lower Parkstone at that time then have a think whether you saw anything.

And stay safe - there are lots of idiots out there. I was in the car at the time and it still rammed home how vulnerable we are.
