Television went POP!!

After recent spats of misbehaviour my tele finally went the way of most electronic products after 7 years. So to a new one. The 'Which' guide best buy turned out to be a discontinued model, so I went for what I thought a half good'un. Sony LCD jobbie, I resisted the temptation to go for a huge mega screen opting for a 32 inch, plenty for our lounge I thought. Price was around the 800 quid mark but shopping around as we all do I found my local 'chain' electrical supplier could do no better than 725 quid. Ended up online at 568 pounds inc delivery. I would like to support local shops but at savings like the one I made how the hell can I or anyone else.
All I have to do now is work out how to plug the tele in and switch it on

Have you tried taking it to Scole Engineering?

I simply can't adjust to the concept of you buying something new that works properly

I've found the on/off button, hidden away in the deepest cavity of plastic imaginable
so I got the thing to work last night and found the tele has an fault!1 when I switched it off I find that the little white spot in the middle of the black screen is'nt working, its just not the same without that is it

Yep tried them but could'nt get the deal on the TV I wanted, still never mind it won't be long before another new set is needed !

I will be on the look out for a cinima system to plug into my new telly very soon, so I know alot of you guys and gals are techi types, what system to go for?
