Has anyone used Teflon Button Gudgon pin retainers on fully floating pins????

I nearly got some once but was told they can melt ans scuff up the bores. Not sure how true that is but in the end I bought aluminium buttons. In theory, as long as there is plenty of clearance they shouldn't really be in contact with the bore whatever material you use. What engine will they be for?

Hi Stevie and the venerable Boosted, both of you get about dont you, I will have to look at the wrist pin as its a really heavy duty one, with about a 10mm hole up the middle, I was lookin at a set od Childs and Albertrods today and the pins can only have about a 2mm wall thickness,
