Can't answer for anyone else - but everything has a price.

If nothing else it gives you a good opportunity to see some clean examples.

The Classifieds section on here has the best selection in the country. I spent 18 months looking at it before the right one came along. I'd say be prepared to travel - but a meeting like Chatsworth is a good starting point.

I'm in Banbury with mine for sale if you're looking for one relatively close to have a good crawl over?

I will clarify a little,im looking for a 4.2 or 4.5 up to 14k.Im not willing break the bank too much winkI think a 4.2 is plenty fast enough though.Looking forward to Sunday and I will most likely see some of you guys there.I did arange to see that 4.5 that was in Leeds a couple of weeks ago but it sold in less than 24 hours.I was a bit dubious as it had very little use in the last 3years but hey maybe it was goodun afterall.
cheers all Andy.

Well, looks like they'll be plenty there and owners to talk to as well.

For my money the 4.2 is good enough against a standard 4.5. If you want to go the extra oomph with whirlwind induction and mapping to get into the over 400bhp then you'll need the 4.5 but either are fast enough in real terms. I'd pick the one that is mechanically sound, has the features/upgrades you require, and probably the colour you want.

Either way you'll never be without a grin. Even on the Isle of Man in torrential rain we were still all grinning biggrin

Unfortunaly, due to impending familly, mine will be up for sale in a month or so...

Will be out of your reach at £17.5k ish, but, it is a 2000 4.5 Red Rose Lightweight, with a 430 bhp (rolling road proven) 4.5 fully rebuilt Austec engine, with just about as much money thrown at an AJP as you can (£10k) with every receipt from new.

Still, familly hey, from the age of zero they cost, then they have the untimely habit of appearing again, and costing all over again :P...

Yes I know, shamless plug, but it will be in the classifieds soon.
