A mate and I were considering going over from Newbury Saturday afternoon.

we are going tomorrow whatever the weather

we are going in the T5 as we've a few bits to pick up prior to our trip to the iom TT in a few weeks

we had a lovely sunny day...didnt see any rain at all

the stunt guy was good on his Honda quad bike wasnt he

took a load of photos and we bought the bits we went for ...jobs a good'un

had a nice chat with a guy on a 04 ZX10..i was having a good look at it when he came over as he was about to leave....it was the cool colour too BLACK
g/f liked it too so we'll see what this year brings

oh and the NR750 was ubercool

I was there on Saturday with a few mates. We arrived, had a donkey burger and a look around. First visit to George Whites and it's an impressive collection of buildings. Loved the NR750. There have been a couple for sale on carclassic.com but I've not had the £20k+ needed to buy one!

£20k that's cheep for one
there are now only 3 in the uk as one was crashed last year and another writen off in france in a garage fire so the remaining ones are going up in value

that one could be bought for £38k

that lad i spoke to said it was insured for a million!?!?!

The bloke I spoke to did comment that Honda UK had the NR750 insured for a huge sum, but that seems extreme. There were 2 for sale in France last year, but I can't find any currently available.

really surprised that anyone from honda uk would say that, was it a honda employee or a george whites bloke??

also they have a nice mint rc30, next time im down at honda uk ill get pics of the two together....

was great to get up close and have a proper look at it as i havent seen one on the road since a trackday at lydden hill in kent about 7 years ago
