Wheel nut sizes

Does anyone know what size the wheel nuts are on a 3R?
I want to get a new set for my new wheels and can't seem to find the size anywhere.

Also as the originally are in a poor rusty state should I go for aluminium ones instead?

I asked the factory and they didn't know....just said I could order some from the dealer!

aluminium wheelnuts really wouldn't be a good idea, titanium would be ok but cost a fortune. I think the threadsize is standard Ford

If they are standard Ford I will check tomorrow when I see whats left of my car and the guys doing the work will try out a titanium version (as they sell them !!).

I will see what they will do pricewise by way of a discount
