Conti Sport Tyres?

I usually stick with (geddit!) the recommended Conti Sports on my W208 CLK (AMG rims) but does anyone have experience of running Hankook Ventus V12 EVOs or Avon 2s on their Merc as these have been offered at 20% less? Thanks.
