I do not have a wind deflector for my '87TE. I would like to purchase one. Can someone recommend a source? I live in Michigan. Thanks. Jim

Do they make such a thing?
I have not seen one on a G car before.

The wind-deflector is mentioned and illustrated on the Lotus Consumer Information booklet which came with the owners manual (for '85 and onward).

Gday boys
The only wind deflector.. i know of for Gcars .. is the one that you put in when you take out the sunroof..

I would be interested what else it could be?

That is exactly what I am referring too in my original note. I do not have a wind-delfector.

Maybe you could post it ....in PARTS wanted.
You never know ..some one may have bent their Gcar ..and have a wreck now....that has a glass roof.
Also SJSports UK ... may have one...
I have one in a bag with my car .... though i have as yet never taken the roof off to try it.

Good luck in looking ...

I have one for my 89 but I found it didn't make a difference if it was in or out. The noise and buffeting were the same either way. Save a few bucks and try it without if first.

I have never had a wind-deflector in the car and the wind & sound levels are high. Thanks for the advise. I will try to stick it out.
