How to get to the inside of my Golf Mk3 doors????

So, my drivers side lock failed me today, a mate reckons I ned to get a new arm bit, but I cant get the door cards off, well, they are more than door cards, but you know what I mean.....can anyone help, who has done it before on a mk3, cos any other car is pretty easy!

1.Remove inner mirror trim and locking pin.

2.Remove window winders if fitted.

3.Remove inner door grab handle trim. 2 screws behind this.

4. Remove the trim around the door pull.

5. Unclip the door card clips all around the door, expect to break some of these.
