I will be there on the 3rd of May competing in the TVRCC Speed Championships. Its supposed to be a very grippy track. Looking forward to it.

Any advice as to how to get onto this track? It's pretty close to me and looks ideal for some handling practice.

Me too. And ditto.

The Bentley Drivers Club usually put on a good event, even if the course isn't the most exciting in the world. The best bit is seeing who can be fastest through the speed trap at the control tower and still make the right hander that follows immediately after; record currently held by Ecurie Blacklee at 105mph, IIRC.

And to the OP; MIRA is a commercial organisation and the track is very much not open to the public. The BDC sprint is closed to spectators and one of the two in the TVRCC Speed Championship where cameras are forbidden (the other being Hethel, at the Lotus factory.) Saturday is a working day at MIRA and the manufacturers who test vehicles there would be deeply pissed off if pictures subsequently appeared in CAR... We're lucky to get to use it.
