On my 3rd chim now! and the new one is the first i've had with a cat. It drives very well indeed but doesn't sound as "raw" or as nice as the last two i have had. Will this be down to the cat? All have been 400's first was a 95 N second a 94 L and this one is a 96 P.

Any help or advise would be great.

Many Thanks

Matt

Are you sure your 95 didn't just have a sleeved exhaust?

Exhaust has been played with i'd expect. I've got a 94 M and its def got a CAT as standard. In fact i believe all Chim's had CATs. Thats why you hear the term pre-cat Griff and never hear pre-cat Chim. Believe 93 was the year they made CATs compulsory for all cars???

Maybe wrong so stand to be correctedsmile
