Anyone here got such a policy? I've had quite a good quote from Bennetts (sub 300 quid - Royal & Sun Alliance for two bikes) which sounds reasonable. Obviously need to check the smallprint.

Has anyone had one & gone back to two policies?

I've used Bike Team for multibike. Renewal for an R1 and an RSV-R would have been £350, fully comp.

The other end of the stick is I got quoted over £500 for a multibike insurance (2 bikes) and to insure them separately it only cost me just over £300.

I use ebike to insure 3 bikes. You can have upto 4. They're good value.

I've just been through the renewal process on my policy and the best I got was BikeSure: £258 for 748SPS and GSXR1000K1 fully comp. Includes full UK and European breakdown cover for the GSXR (I don't take the Duke to Europe), cover to ride any other bike (TPO), legal and clothing cover as well. I think I rang just about every bike insurance company out there! The next best was actually Carole Nash, but that was only after they frigged their figures to try and get my business. I used to be with Express Insurance for years, but the queue waiting on their renewals line every time I called really pissed me off, so I went for another company this year.

Blimey, trying to get a comparative quote in long & painful. The bottom line for Bennett is that that they don't insure riders to ride machines other than their own. And their initial cheap premuim was due to a £750 excess.

Anyway, still might go with them, not sure about the riding other bike bit though.

Never got as far as a quote from Bennetts. The guy told me no riding other bikes and we went no further. I have the chance of a go on something else regularly enough for that to be an issue.

Another problem is that I need business use included - whacks the premium up. I tried BikeSure, over £500 just for one bike.
