Morning Chaps

First practice just started (live on http://www.itv-f1.com/VideoLive.aspx )
Weather looks good

Predictions ...

Ferrari are going to dominate the weekend - long straight - high speed and the Ferrari's seem to have the out rate pace by a fair margin

does anyone know if the 1'18''339 Massa did last week was on slicks or was it in standard 2008 spec ?

Pretty sure he was on slicks - but not sure what kind of aero set-up he was running.

the Mclarens look very unstable, losing .5sec per sector on average, stroll in the park for Ferrari this weekend or early days??

Yep - Ferrari seem to have an easy 0.5 - 1.0 sec advantage - only hope it that massa throws it off and hit Kimi and the start - they we might have a good race

Weather forecast is for a dry & hot weekend - no rain at all

Is it just me or does the Renault engine cover look strange, it seemed to be pointy at the back as opposed to sweeping down?

Kubica 'best of the rest' again so far. Although I'm loathe to use that phrase, as I dont think its such a clear cut Ferrari/Mclaren > Other teams type season.

BMW and Kubica/Hiedfeld are definitely on for a win this season.

They are copying the RedBull design, some sort of stability issue in fast corners I suspect.

Since they aren't McLaren and copying a Ferrari design they will not be punished.

Suck don't it. Never have that rpoblem with WRC Rally Radio.

Still, does anyone know a UK based free proxy we could run through?

Yup, are you?
I'm in Ireland and I occaisionally get this with BBC Radio4 online.
They lookup your IP address and can tell which country you are in.

I think it's a pretty poor show really. Still, if we can find a proxy, we might be able to get it through there. (I've asked on the computers forum - so maybe something will crop up)

He's really having a lot of trouble keeping the rear in line, especially in the final sector, losing about 0.7 of a second to Fisi, especially in the new chicane.
