Hi, just looking for some guidance on a couple of matters.
Firstly,the old chestnut, tyres.
Need two new fronts, car is PAS so the 'Bible' says 225/55 ZR 15.
Previous owner of mine fitted 205/55 ZR15 which I understand is recommended for
a non PAS model. The problem I'm having is finding either of these.Car is currently on Goodyear F1
Eagles all round.I think I am right in saying Goodyear has discontinued 225s and 205s.Any suggestions on what I should fit, rears are OK.
Secondly, car failed MOT due to the emisions being slightly over the allowed limit. It seems it is running too rich.I have thought about adding some injector treatment and taking the car back when it is hot and having re tested.Anyone experienced this before? does it work?
Any suggestions are welcomed.

But don't forget to book it in for a "while you wait test" and not a leave it and collect test. No point taking it for a good blast to get it warm, only to have it standing around for a few hours getting cold again before they test it.
Yes let the car idle while waiting,it takes ages to get the main cat up to temp if its left for a while switched off, remember MOT testing stations are not always that patient, purge the engine(blip the throttle,a couple of good hard revs)a few times while your waiting to go back on the MOT bay and make sure its been running from coldstart for at least 30mins205s are correct for the fronts.
The only tyre I could find in the correct size and speed rating was the Dunlop SP9000, available from E-tyres for around £70 each fitted.
Toyos are good but please tell your insurance company as they are V rated and the Chim should have W or Z. Most insurers are OK if told but why give them an excuse not to pay out should the worst happen!

Many thanks for all the replies. The garage did say to make sure it had a good run and to call just before arriving and they would be ready.By the way its a 1999 4.0 with a cat.
Managed to locate a couple of 205 Dunlops, spoke to Dunlop technical who say they are suitable and meet TVR criteria, £81.50 each fitted so I guess thats not far away.
Once again many thanks, this is what TVR ownership is all about.
