Someone hit my car - gently!

Hello all,
My wife has a mint 1992 190E that we have had from new. Not very interesting I here you say! Trouble is the other day someone ran into the back of it, gently. Suffice to say that the other car came off worst with a broken lamp and cracked bumper etc. The 190 seemed untouched, but I have now found that the black insert in the rear bumper has come adrift on one side and the whole bumper is out of line (pushed in on the same side) by about 3 or 4mm. Not much but enough to annoy me.
Any clues how to sort this? I was wondering that there might be adjustment etc or is it just a case of a box of spanners and brute force?
