Got my hands on a 2008 330d convertible - and very nice it is too!

Boring question, but does anyone know if / how you raise the rear headrests? I've tried pulling them up like you would with a normal headrest - but no joy. Or are they fixed in place?

The kiddie seats are too tall to sit flush with the seat back unless I can raise the headrests. As you can imagine, I am very close to being asked to give this thing back and get a saloon.. please help me

Any ideas???

There's a little catch underneath them isn't there? A plastic collar. They should definitely move.

I dont think you can. On an e46 they had some sort of charge device that shot them upwards in the event of a roll. This was to protect rear passengers so it MIGHT be the same on an E93??

Donut, Mk 4 where are ya??????????

Just spoke with BMW - the guy thinks they don't move.
They are fixed because they are a part of the rollover protection.

Cheers for the help though guys. On the plus side I now have an excuse for solo motoring! driving
