Had a lot of work done around this but the problem keeps coming back.

Basically my LCD screen flickers on and off and only after i've had the heater blowing full HOT for about 40 mins. The dashboard ECU has been replaced and the LCD screen has had a panel built around it at the back to stop the heat soak but it just keeps happening!

Anybody else had this and got it cured?

Had mine go off completely about a year ago, dashboard ECU was checked by Carol Mason who use to test the ECU's & dash pods at the factory & no fault could be found. Finally found an earth fault on the dash pod was causing the problem. These sort of problems are very hard to diagnose as in my case testing the dash ECU and pod independently out of the car showed that they were both OK.

Heath has had Cath involved with it yeah. It's a convertible style dashboard. As i said I've had the dashboard ECU refurbed and a box built around the back of the screen to stop heat soak. But after about 40 mins with the heater on full (roof off obviously) the screen starts flashing on and off.

Will be getting back in touch with Heath but just wondered if anybody else had the issue and had found the fault.
