Next Santa Pod excursion?

Replaced my tyres today with some Pirelli P Zero Rosso's as the last set were shot.

When is the next run to the pod so I can test em??

Is Total Vauxhall worth going to in June?

I got a spare pare in the garage that I took off when I bought the ro - never intend to use them so might be worth getting a set onto my spare alloys for such an occasion

I have some special soft compound part worn 235x18 low profile track tyres.
No good on the 19" vxr8 rims. If anyone is interested.

you might be but I in my lowly NA would be embarrassed by something like a corsa (I got my arse handed to me on a plate by a stripped out pug305 :embarrassed:

If you want to drive around in 305 with no interior and an exhaust that makes yr ears bleed over 60mph crack on, personally id rather have comfort and the knowledge that over 110mph or so yr going to kick his arse in the real world.

yes true there is that but in the real world the performance benefits of the Ro are simply outweighed by the fact of the plod OK on the motorway I got the sheer acceleration and day to day driving is far more fun (specially now the diff is sorted ) but on the strip its easy to get embarrassed easily by lower weighted cars...

saying that since I've tuned the car and now got the diff improved I'd imagine being able to get into the 14s and poss a 13.

Totally agree. sounds like a plan. would be nice to meet other Ro drivers without Vauxhall and other agendas....
The Astra crew (for example) seem to pull it off and have displays and parking at the Pod - why not the Ro's aswell, and i bet 20 ro's together would get more attention than 50 astra's/WRX's etc...

Here`s the list....we love lists
For those who have never done a drag day (no.. with cars or bikes) its a good day out and strangely enough the car seemed to run far better afterward for a few weeks so it must have enjoyed it too.
There`s also a cafe and toilets Sophie was happy to use as well as a good spectators area.
