£40k - £45k gets you a great 550 - now that I have got mine I am hoping that they stabilise at this level.

They really are epic cars for the money.

Do people ever drive these?, i've never seen one on the road(seen a few 456s)
They must be really scary bills to frighten the Ferraristi into not using them.

Nearly did. wouldn't fit in the garage, otherwise a fabulous car. Depends what else you have and what you want from a car.If you want serious driving ability there are better cars. If you want to feel great arriving only an aston does better. But there's almost nothing better at 40K...buy a good one and be happy. N2H

friend has one in Italy and it cost him £42k and is mint. Full service history from a single owner. He has a local ex Ferrari mechanic to service it And so far its costing him nothing. He puts £2k a year away just in case. But he wants to keep the car for another 10 years so will be looking after it. From what he tells me he is in Love with it, And loves driving 50 miles on a weekend just to eat a nice breakfast and take in the mountain roads. He does not drive the arse off it. But still has fun
