Mini/Allegro wiring diagram
Discussion
The indicators on my spyder seem have given up flashing and just stay on when the switch is set and the RH one gives a great burning smell! Due to the self destruction of the indicator stalk, I've replaced it but maybe I've made a mistake with the rewiring? Does anyone have a mini/allegro wiring diagram that you could post so I can check?
Thanks
Alistair

Green/White to offside (RH), Green/Red to nearside (LH) and Light Green/White to flasher unit.
If one of the indicators is giving a burning smell then that has to be your starting point as it may have a dead short. Try disconnecting it then trying the indicators again.

ETA for a mini Mark II
Green = live from fuse into flasher unit.
Light Green/Purple = to the flasher telltale bulb
Light Green/Brown = flasher to switch.
The switch then directs the flash (Light Green/Brown) to either LH (Green/Red) or RH (Green/White).
Having seen the circuit I cant see how you can have them all on unless you have an earth fault. You can test for that by taking a wire, fixed to a known good earth point, and touching it to any earth point you want to test.
Where in Hants are you? If you get completely stuck you could bring it over to Waterlooville.
