Two topics so far and both of them problems, I'm going to have to think of something positive to say next time!

This time I've noticed that the bonnet of my recently acquired Griff has got what looks like little bits of red paint dust (car is blue/purple) or overspray dotted all over it (bizarrely only the bonnet ).

Tried autoglym resin polish to no avail, then autoglym paint restorer which took some of it off but started to make swirls / scratches, so stopped that pronto.

Anyone suggest a way I can tackle this?

No, red stuff was on the car when I bought it and it has been kept in a garage. Pretty sure it's paint, as some of it came off when I used the paint restorer. You can also pick it off with your nail (but this would take the rest of my life!)

Had same problem on my Griff as idiot sun sprayed his wheels near garage and it ended up all silver.

Used 3M Finesse, which you get from a motor factors. It is abrasive, but not overly and left the paintwork blemish free.
