Is there a test i can do to see if the speedo is faulty on 1996 Chim as mine has stopped working.
Where is the control unit for the speedo?

There is'nt a easy way im afraid.
There are only 3 nuts to remove so you can remove the dash and 2 knurled nuts removes the speedo.
Theres only 1 difficult nut to undo but when you get your body in the right position very easy.
I can remove the dash in less than 10 mins i had alot off problems with the speedo a year ago.
Then send the clock off for repair.
Or replace the sender above the diff thats not easy and cost the same.
You maybe lucky it's a gamble which is broke i found that out to my cost
