has paul bird sacked lavilia yet ?
Why? He finished in the top 10 in both races 9th & 7th, exactly what the goal was.lavilla is more than capable of running in the top 6 and podiums but there still miles behind in development terms of the likes of ten kate etc.
kiyo isnt exactly setting the world alight and no one is giving him grief!!
anyway, they were the boring races, what about supersport...............GO JONNY

what the f--- is kiyo playing at?
y2, i must say that having first hand experience of the guy he will be asking himself the same thing.
he has several problems this season.
1.the weight of expectation/pressure from everyone following his bsb success.
2.he knows none of the tracks, wait till he gets to the uk rounds to see comparative pace.
3.the tyres, he has never ridden on pirellis, which are a long way from custom made factory michelins.
4.the late arrival of the bikes, maybe if he had a decent pre season he would have been ok.
5.the fact that he is lead in honda's plans to woop ass at suzuka 8hr this year, and he has teavelled 78 thousand miles since the season started to fullfill his 8hr commitments and his wsb job.
all in all, not easy for him is it?? but dont write him off yet, 09 he will be smoking ever bugger, him and rea on a dialled in blade with no bayliss and a year behind him......mark my words.
and remember, he had 2 years in bsb before he did anything...........

Lavilla is a veteran of 130+ WSB races and can run at the front, give em a chance to get the bike sorted. The engine is there, but they started the season on the '07 bike . .
Kiyo is an awesome talent, I'd be dead if I'd had his schedule over the last 2 months. 2 differetn bikes to develop, with different engine management, different suspension, and different tyres, which are both different to those you've been riding on for the last 4 yrs in BSB. He's admitted that he's too slow at the start of a race, I wouln't be capable of ebing awake after his mileage let alone riding competitively . . Add that he doesn't know all the circuits . . .
Note that the paddock gossip has been one of surprise and praise for the speed he is showing . .
Let's sack everyone behind Bayliss & Haga today cos they aren't doing well enough
Get rid of the Corser, past it . .
Xaus, legs stick out to far so he's gone . .
Kagayama, doesn't look like he's trying
Biaggi, well why wouldn't you sack him

also the latest paddock rumour suggests that makoto tamada is going back to motogp on the kwak and super aussie anthony west coming to wsb to replace him.....
Crackin Supersport race- about as nutty as a 125 GP ! Tough for Jonny Rea (the new JR !)to lose by 14 thou and shame about Craig Jones dropping back.
Nice to see 3-675 Daytonas finishing top 15.
Glad Haga bounced back to challenge Baylisstic. He's getting a rep for almost being as tough as Troy at this rate.

what a supersport race, im watching the 100 stocks race on sbk website now, get off lavilla and kiyo back there world class, kiyo has done 75,000 air miles this year already testing the suzuka 8 hour bike, switching bikes every week, lavilla is doing a top job, that bike aint on par with the hanspree bikes yet still getting top 10 finishes, your speaking tosh people.
Jonny rea though what a talent, i mean we all knew that anyway, but his riding style is so good to watch, thats the best race iv ever seen, amazing

.....
Having been over at Assen this weekend, I can say that they way Xaus rode his bike back through the pack in race 1 was awe inspring. He was losing the front then the back end at practically every corner
Xaus, legs stick out to far so he's gone . .
.....

The supersport guys really are savages though!
