Hi, does anyone know the minimum disk thickness for the Monaro VXR brakes? I have them fitted to my 04CV8.

I need to get mine skimmed as the pads have not been making contact to the rear face of the disks and the build up of crud is now causing a little judder. Braking efficiency is still within normal limits (MOT passed a few months ago). As discussed in other threads this is probably caused by washing and putting in garage without drying the brakes and possibly contributed to by garaging the car over winter.

I have decided not to change brakes unless absolutely necessary so not considering upgrading to APs or similar. If anyone can recomend a company in the Stoke or North Staffs area to do the work that would be great.

Thanks Andy
