I went to see the end of season showdown at Thruxton last year , great to see two potential champions giving a real show for the crowd , Plato carrying serious burns but I really don,t think he could have pushed any harder , despite all the doorbanging and a three - no four car vauxhall team they still shook hands and Jason sportingly congratulated Giov after the decider , good quality racing and I couldn,t help admiring Giovs skill at the end of the day and a real gentleman as well.

Never ceases to amaze me how little national press coverage it gets. I read somewhere that more people got to watch BTCC than Cricket in the UK and if you take out Ascot/Grand National/ ect, runs close to Horse Racing in terms of spectators.
