Somerset Stages Rally 26th April 2008
Discussion
Great day out as always, beautiful weather and to top it off, the wind was blowing away from me this year.
Tried to capture the speed this year after reading about techniques on here, camera is maybe a bit slow sometimes but a fair amount of operator error thrown in as well. Sorry for the number of photos, thought some people might just enjoy looking at the variety of the cars.

Love this one just for the smile on his face;

This one shows how sideways the previous car got in comparison;

Very quick stitch of three shots;

brilliant looks like a cracking day! Wish I had known about it! Where exactly was it?

Good pics but did you not move around to any other parts of the track?
I've wondered around previous years but usually just settle down for a picnic whilst watching the cars go by. The organisers are keen for all to go to this stage, you pay a bit for parking, but you get the commentary and the drivers put on a good show. I'm supprised given the number of photographers there, how few shots seem to turn up on the web.Gassing Station | Photography & Video | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
