Bonnet hinges

'92 pre-cat how do you remove the bonnet hinges, I've looked under the dash!.

Tried to reply yesterday but the thread got deleted somehow.
It is a rod that goes across the baulkhead within the wiper area.
Not really accessible.
Probably easier to mask the area off and paint the hinge rod in situ.
Pretty sure this is what I did with mine.

Assuming they are the same as the 500's,you can either tap out or drill the exposed retaining pin.Getting the rod out though, could be a b1tch.
