Anyone else loving the current weather?

It's been a great time for me to get back on a bike! (After 8 years)

The morning rides are cool and crisp, and the afternoons are dry and sunny.

Definitely glad I bought my bike now, as I was a bit worried it'd be the same as joining the gym (I never went, and cancelled on the last day of the 12 months), but really enjoying being out on the bike, and reckon the weather has a lot to do with it!

Completely agree! I have just got back into biking after a good 4 years out of the saddle! Just cancelled the gym membership and had a new bike delivered last week. Been out on it every day since! Looking forward to an afternoon ride today.

I bought my bike a couple of weeks back. Unfortunately, it was delivered damaged, and the gears on the back were knackered.
Having NEVER had a mountain bike before, I didn't know how to sort the problem. I rang the place I got it from, and got new parts sent through the post (took ages), but in the meantime I wanted to get out on my bike, so read up, went on youtube, etc, and got the gears working for the most part (still won't work fully due to the new part needing fitting), and have been out on it pretty much every day since!

I went out for an evening ride last Monday, then was ill from Tuesday up until yesterday pretty much, but managed to get out on Wednesday night, Saturday morning, Sunday morning, and this morning. Going out for an evening ride tonight most likely, and planning on continuing going out every morning, and a few evening rides, as and when.

Well, the weather over the past couple of days has been a bit rubbish eh! I might just have to brave the rain today and get out on my bike anyway.

I've given up on afternoon rides now, as the weather seems to deteriorate just in time for me finishing work. Back to morning rides now, and had a nice cold and crisp ride this morning (albeit only for an hour).

Wonderfull isnt it.
- Was busy over the weekend (working on our boat, and stoneleigh sunday) but on friday i had the best ride this side of christmas (i ride twice weekly) and the weather was the main contributing factor to that.

Yep, the weather was pretty good this weekend! It's set to improve too! (Or at least where I am anyway!)

I went out this morning, bitterly cold and foggy, my hands were frozen. But, about 20 minutes into the ride, the sun came out, and all was brilliant!

Great photo! I got some nice-ish photos on the weekend, but they're all taken on my phone, as I don't take my digicam with me on rides.

Weather here in the borders has been great! Did 15 miles XC yesterday at 7 Stanes Newcastleton. Nearly killed myself as usual but hey, it gets the adrenaline going .
