V70 Rear Tyre Wear

MY05 V70 2.0 Turbo SE with the 17" alloys, so its has 225/45 r17 tyres. Have stuck with the Pirelli p6000s to date, but the rear off side tyre wear is apalling, mainly the outside shoulder of the tyre. Its almost bald but the middle and inside still have 5mm of tread easily. Last time I swapped the tyres, guy from kwik fit says he has seen lots of poor tyre wear on v70s - anyone seen this, is it poor suspension alignment, self levelling suspension?

I don;t carry heavy loads, but do drive enthusiastically.....

There's your answer... of course they are going to wear more on the outside edge if you thrash it! :P

hi,you need a 4 wheel alignment check/adjust,this will check front and rear toe and camber,sounds like yours needs tweaking a little,dont worry,many need adjusting even at low mileages,think the gauges were out at the factory

Thx, I'll ask them to do it. Its going in in the next couple fo weeks for service, 1st MOT and hopefully fix the rear wiper once and for all!!!
